Why We Built Dalily
Every neighborhood has that one person you call when you need something. The friend who knows the best doctor. The neighbor who has a lawyer’s number saved. The uncle who always knows where to eat.
We wanted to build that friend — online, and for everyone.
That’s where the name comes from. Dalily echoes the Arabic word دليلي (Dalili), which means “my guide.” It felt right from the start. Not a directory. Not a database. A guide — your guide, to everything nearby.
Your guide to everything nearby. دليلك لكل شيء قريب منك.
Two languages, one idea: you shouldn’t have to dig around to find someone trustworthy near you. Whether you’re looking for a market, a restaurant, a doctor, a lawyer, a tradesperson, or a digital service — Dalily should feel like asking a friend, not filling out a form.
We built Dalily for two kinds of people. First, the people searching — English and Arabic speakers who want a real answer, fast, without ads getting in the way. Second, the business owners — the local shops, clinics, offices, and services who deserve to be found by the people already looking for them.
This is just the start. Dalily is local-first, built for real neighborhoods, and made to grow with the people who use it.
Welcome to Dalily. Glad you’re here.
